Our Team
The Chamber is a volunteer organization composed of individuals, businesses, industries, educators, and professionals who work together to advance the business, financial, industrial and civic interests of our community. It is an action agency designed to meet your needs! The organization is operated by a Board of Directors elected by the Chamber’s members. Annually the Board nominates the President, Vice Presidents, and Directors. The administrative head of the Chamber is the Executive Director.
The Executive Officers
Lynn Godsey
President
Lynn Godsey joined Bluegrass Community and Technical College in 2018 as the Campus Director for the Georgetown-Scott County Campus, home to the Advanced Manufacturing Center.
Lynn works to increase student access to educational opportunities that lead to high quality careers or prepare students for transfer to 4-year institutions. She has been a strong advocate for expanding dual credit opportunities for high school students and, in partnership with Scott County Schools, launched the Scott County Bluegrass College Academy.
She grew up in Buffalo, NY, earned a BS in Business Administration from SUNY at Buffalo and an MBA from Indiana University. Before settling in Kentucky in 1999, Lynn had the opportunity to live and work in Anchorage, Alaska; Tucson, Arizona; and Washington DC.
Lynn and her husband, David, live in Georgetown with their rescue puppy, Buddy.
Eric Del Valle
President-Elect and
Co Chair Membership & Events
Eric Del Valle is the Business Development Manager at Advanced Business Solutions, a local technology company that supports Kentucky businesses with a range of IT services, including Managed Services, Cybersecurity, and IT Consulting.
Eric is actively involved in both the Georgetown/Scott County Chamber of Commerce Membership Committee and the Young Professionals group. In 2023, he served as Chair, where he promoted regional collaboration and extended fellowship to surrounding counties. Eric has recently been selected as Co-Chair of the Membership Committee and is eager to contribute to the planning of the upcoming year. Additionally, Eric was chosen as the President-Elect of the Georgetown/Scott County Chamber of Commerce, and he looks forward to continuing to strengthen the community and making the Chamber a vibrant place for all members.
Eric lives in Lexington with his wife, Anastasia, their two children, Aiden and Vera, and their three dogs—Max, Booker, and Weller. Aiden and Vera are active in basketball and volleyball, and their family often travels across Kentucky for games and practices. They enjoy spending time with family in Kentucky and Florida, where they frequently vacation on the beach.
Tom Ramsey
Past President
Tom Ramsey is the owner and founder of CK Tactical Security Inc. CK Tactical Security currently employs over 250 seasonal, full, and part time employees. CK Tactical Security currently serves as on-site security for University of KY football, The Land Rover KY Three Day event at the world renowned KY Horse Park, The Barbasol Championship for the PGA, and also provides security for many other businesses in Central KY.
Tom also is very active in the community and with the Georgetown/Scott County Chamber of Commerce. Tom sits on the Young Professionals committee. He is very proud to support the community through scholarships for both high schools in Scott County. Tom is also involved in several projects to aid veterans in their transition from military life. Tom is an 8 year veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Where he was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal.
Tom's goals are to " Leave the community in a better spot then when I arrived ". Tom and his family reside in Stamping Ground and have been in Scott County since 2005.
Caleb Manley
Treasurer
Caleb is a Loan Officer with Whitaker Bank and has lived in Kentucky all of his life. He has over 20 years of banking experience.
Caleb is very active in the community and with Georgetown/Scott Co. Chamber. He is the President of the Scott Co. Kiwanis Club and Treasurer for several Nonprofits including Meals on Wheels of the bluegrass, and Capital City Activity Center.
In his free time, Caleb enjoys spending time with his wife and traveling the world. He is dedicated to helping others and supporting our community.

Megan Sharpe
Chair Women in Business
Megan Sharpe is the co-owner and operator of HomeGrown Direct LLC; a farm that has been local to the Scott County area since 1783. HomeGrown Direct specializes in wholesale and CSA produce and pumpkins and was awarded the Scott County Chamber of Commerce 2024 Small Business of the Year.
Megan is actively involved in the agricultural community across the Commonwealth and strives to bring knowledge and resources back to Scott County. With the assistance of the Kentucky LFPA program, HomeGrown Direct was able to provide $750,000 worth of produce to families and organizations in need during the 2023-2024 growing seasons. Megan believes in collaboration and team work- multiple entities working towards the similar huge goals for the betterment of the community. There is room for everyone to make a positive impact!
Megan cherishes her familial farming history and has completely immersed herself into the community in Scott County. Originally from Hart County, it has been a huge scenery change since moving to Georgetown 9 years ago. Alongside her husband and two children, Megan knows they can make a positive change for agriculture and business in the Bluegrass.
Shelby Lyons
Chair Young Professionals
Shelby joined the Central Bank family as a Teller in 2010 and is currently a loan officer at the Georgetown Main location. She was named the 2023 Young Professional of the Year and is excited to chair the committee for the upcoming year.
Shelby is originally from Flint, Michigan and enjoyed living on the island of Oahu, Hawaii before moving to Kentucky in 2009. Before deciding to settle in Kentucky, she began school online with Grand Canyon University and earned her M.S. in General Psychology in 2014. She is married to Andrew Lyons. They have two children, Aubryn and Braxton and a Golden Doodle, Wimsey. Her children are involved in Softball, Track and Soccer so you can often find her at practice or a game/meet. On Summer weekends, they spend all their time at the lake. They also enjoy spending time with family in Lexington or traveling to Michigan or South Carolina to visit family.
Marilyn Stevens
Co-Chair Membership & Events
Marilyn earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics from the University of Kentucky and a Master’s degree in Food Science & Nutrition from The University of Tennessee in Knoxville. With over 40 years of experience in the nutrition field, she has held roles such as Maternal & Child Health Dietitian at the Northern Kentucky District Health Department and Nutritional/Pharmaceutical Sales Representative for Bristol Myers Squibb, where she worked for two decades.
Since 2008, Marilyn has been dedicated to promoting health and wellness by partnering with Arbonne International as an Independent Consultant and Area Manager. She is passionate about helping individuals improve their health by making informed choices about the foods they eat and the products they use. Arbonne International is a company committed to sustainable healthy living and offers opportunities for entrepreneurship, enabling people to achieve their personal, business, and financial goals.
Marilyn is also deeply engaged in her community in Scott County, where she has lived since 2016. She is an active member of the Scott County Woman’s Club, the P.E.O. (Philanthropic Education Organization), which supports women’s education, and serves as co-chair for the Membership and Events Committee of the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce.
She has been happily married to her husband Steve for 40 years, and together they have two adult sons and two cherished grandchildren. She enjoys golf, hiking, cooking, people and most of all being with her family.
Missy Baker

Missy is Principal Broker/ Owner of Realty World TNT in Georgetown.
She has resided in Georgetown, KY. for over nine years now. As a transplant from a small town in Eastern KY she is excited to have the same sense of small town in her new community.
Work ethic and determination are high on her list of attributes. She has 2 grown children and is enjoying her ‘empty nest’. She is in a unique position with her profession to be able to give more back to the community and loves the opportunity to do so.
She is currently serving as an active Chamber Board Member and Chamber Membership Committee Chair. She is proud to be listed as a Certified Ky Minority and Women Owned Business. She was a founding member of Women In Business and was voted 2021 Chamber Ambassador of the Year.
Lee Carter
Chair Governmental Affairs
Lee is a graduate of Georgetown College and has lived in Georgetown for 30+ years. He currently serves as the President of the Kentucky Horse Park. Previously he was Executive Director of Equestrian Events, Inc. and organized the Land Rover Kentucky Three-Day Event.
He is past chair of the Georgetown/Scott County Tourism Commission and the Georgetown/Scott County Chamber of Commerce.
Lee’s family includes his wife, Laura, and sons Eli and Graham.
Jared Grant
Chair Economic & Education Affairs
Jared Grant, the Vice President/Area Manager for Stock Yards Bank & Trust in Scott and Harrison Counties, has a deep-rooted commitment to community banking. Born and raised near Somerset, in Pulaski County, Jared began his banking career in 2001 and earned a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Kentucky in 2006. Jared's focus lies in building strong relationships with his business clients and crafting innovative solutions to address their financial needs. His dedication to community involvement is evident through his active participation in organizations such as the Georgetown/Scott County Chamber of Commerce, where he serves as Chair for the Economic Development and Education Committee. Jared is also a 2024 graduate of Leadership Scott County.
Jared's passion for community service extends to volunteering with various organizations including Amen House, Junior Achievement of the Bluegrass, and Scott/Bourbon Counties Habitat for Humanity, where he holds the position of Board Vice President. Jared's past board roles in organizations like The Coalition for the Homeless, Feeding America Kentucky’s Heartland, and United Way of the Bluegrass showcase his commitment to making a positive impact in the community.
Jared and his wife, Kate, moved to Georgetown in 2017. In 2019, Jared and Kate fostered and eventually adopted their daughter, Hadley. Jared is a lifelong UK sports fan and enjoys golf, fishing, and kayaking in his spare time.

Leonard Bredwood
Owner, Lola's Laundry
Leonard is the co-owner of Lola’s Laundry, located in Georgetown, KY.
He has previous worked as a Manager at Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Kentucky for 28 years where he served in numerous management roles in engineering, production, maintenance and
production control. Using his manufacturing experience and passion to serve the community, Leonard and his wife have established Lola’s Laundry to provide an alternative for the community to do their laundry.
Leonard is also active at Main Street Baptist Church, where he serves as a deacon. He and his wife reside in Georgetown and have two children.
Kristine Cassata
Owner, Indigo & Co Realty
Kristine Cassata is a top producer and proven real estate professional. With a degree in Business Administration, a professional background in sales and marketing, strong ethics, and a strong focus on repeat business and referrals she has built a reputation as a highly regarded and successful realtor.
In 2020 Kristine launched Indigo & Co Realty, a boutique brokerage serving Georgetown and the surrounding areas. Whether working with buyers or sellers, Kristine and her team will put the clients first with good communication, attention to detail and an overall real estate experience worth sharing.
Kristine is passionate about her community and sharing it with others. She is a board member of the Georgetown Scott County Chamber of Commerce, a founding member of the Women in Business committee, and is proud to continue as Chair for the Georgetown Scott County Women in Business for 2023. She is also the recipient of the 2022 Woman of the Year Award.
Stephanie Emmons
Assistant Superintendent of Student Learning, Scott County Schools
Stephanie is the Assistant Superintendent of Student Learning for Scott County Schools. She has been in education for 17 years and worked as an elementary and high school special education teacher, as well as elementary and high school principal. She has a passion for the education of all students and building an educational system that prepares students for their futures and to become successful citizens in our community.
Stephanie and her family live here in Georgetown. Her husband is an elementary teacher here in Scott County, her oldest son attends Morehead State University and her youngest two sons attend Scott County Middle School. She currently sits on the Economic and Education Affairs Committee.
Amanda Ernest
Regional Director of Sales, Rainmaker Hospitality
Amanda is a Scott County native with a deep love for her hometown. After earning a Business Degree from Midway College, she returned to Georgetown with her
husband, Brice, a School Resource Officer with the Scott County Sheriff's Department.
Amanda and Brice have two children who attend Scott County Schools and are active in the local sports community.
Amanda’s nearly two-decade career in the hospitality industry kicked off back in high school, and spans from restaurant management to hotel operations, but it was in hotel sales that she found her true calling. Currently, Amanda is the Regional Director of Sales for Rainmaker Hospitality, where she oversees a team that sells for 27
hotels, including four right here in Georgetown. She is passionate about her work, her team, and this amazing community.
Amanda is eager to bring her experience and energy to the Georgetown/Scott County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.
Brian Harris
Owner, United Talent & United Events
Brian Harris is an entrepreneur, real estate investor, property manager, and non-profit philanthropist. Originally from Louisville, Kentucky, he moved to Georgetown in 1996 to attend Georgetown College, where he quickly developed a passion for entrepreneurship and the local community.
In 1998, while still pursuing his business degree, Brian founded United Talent, an organization that remains committed to serving our area youth through an array of athletic and performing arts programs. Brian is married to Kara Harris, and together they have two children, Layne (13) and Jack (9).
After the sudden and unexplained loss of their first child, Kaden, Brian and Kara established Kaden’s Cause, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting families facing the tragic loss of a child. More recently, Brian launched United Events, a versatile and spacious venue designed to host a variety of events and special occasions for the community.
Heather Johnson
Executive Director, The Gathering Place Mission
Heather made Georgetown her home in 2002, moving here with her husband, Fred, and their three children. Over the years, the vibrant community, supportive friends, wonderful churches, and countless amazing people she’s met have deeply rooted her in this town and fueled her love for the community and dedication to community service.
Heather joined the “My Church” staff in 2010. In 2016, Heather stepped into several different leadership roles at Crossroads Church. She has led Garth's Afterschool Mentoring Leadership Academy and partnered with the Family Resource Center to lead Camp Buffalo.
These days, you’ll often find Heather at The Gathering Place. After serving on the Board of Directors in 2023, she was honored to step into the role of Executive Director. Heather is passionate about helping people get back on their feet and integrating them into the fabric of the community.
Justin Posey
Senior Analyst, Corporate Communications, Toyota Motor North America
Justin Posey is a senior analyst in corporate communications at Toyota Motor North America, Inc. He is responsible for corporate branding and reputation, media relations, and external communications strategies for Toyota’s U.S. manufacturing presence, including its largest global production facility and North American production engineering headquarters in Georgetown, Kentucky.
Before joining Toyota in 2019, Posey spent many years working in government, public policy and nonprofit domains based in Washington, D.C.
Beginning his career in 2008, Posey served as a staff member in the United States Senate. He progressed through multiple roles in the Senate before being promoted to deputy press secretary. In 2015, Posey joined The Heritage Foundation, which consistently ranks as one of the most influential think tanks globally, as a communications manager. He was quickly promoted to senior communications manager, advising executives on strategic messaging and working with partner agencies to have a measurable impact on critical issues before the United States Congress and regulatory agencies. Posey also led media relations efforts, generating earned media for Heritage’s research on monetary, regulation, tax, energy, infrastructure, telecommunications and transportation policy.
A native of Montevallo, Alabama, he holds a bachelor’s in public relations from The University of Alabama and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of the Cumberlands. Posey is active in the local community, a graduate of Leadership Central Kentucky, he also serves on numerous nonprofit boards.
Christy Rock
Realtor, Christie's International Real Estate Bluegrass
Christy is a local realtor who simply loves Georgetown. A resident since 2005 following her marriage to Dr. Troy Rock who said small town living is the place to start our life and raise children. And they did just that, now raising 2 teenage boys who attend GCHS.
She is President of Carin for Nurses, a non-profit established by her sister, Carin Brown Addams. CFRNS helps nurses in financial need and Christy takes great pride in continuing this organization in her sister's memory, after losing her battle with breast cancer. Carin for Nurses was awarded the Chamber Award for non-profit of the year 2024.
After graduating from Paul Laurence Dunbar High School in 1993 she attended EKU earning a BS in Community Health Education and a MA in Allied Health Sciences. Twelve years were spent in pharmaceutical sales before she began her career in real estate in 2012. She's now a top producing agent with Christie's International Real Estate Bluegrass and a Ball Homes new construction consultant. Being awarded the Bluegrass Realtors 2022 Good Neighbor Award recipient and the KY Realtors 2023 Good Neighbor Award is an honor she doesn't take lightly and fuels her desire to continue helping those in need in her community. She also was awarded the 2024 Chamber Ambassador of the Year.
Nate Schwartz
Agent, Chenault & Hoge Insurance
Nate is an insurance agent for Chenault & Hoge on Main St. in downtown Georgetown. Originally from New Jersey, he graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2009. He calls Georgetown his home along with his amazing family: His fiancée Aundreya and his 2 daughters, Renae and Zoey.
He is an active member of Grace Christian Church, serves on the Board of Directors for The Gathering Place Mission, and the Georgetown Board of Adjustments. Nate is a graduate of the Leadership Scott County 2017-2018 class. He was the first recipient of the Chamber’s Ambassador of the Year award in 2018. “I have a passion for meeting new people and businesses in the area and making them feel welcome; I believe that the Chamber serves a vital role in this growing community and the driving force is our members.”
In his free time Nate enjoys spending time with family and friends and anything athletics related. He actively roots for Big Blue and the Cincy Reds, does all things baseball, horse racing, and working out. Nate also enjoys playing golf and is currently attempting to get better one round at a time.
Evan Sharp
Lawn Care Manager, Pratt's Lawn & Landscape
Evan is a native of Georgetown, KY and a graduate of Scott County High School and the University of Kentucky. In 2003, he earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Kentucky in Plant & Soil Science with a minor in Agriculture Economics.
Evan has been with Pratt’s Lawn and Landscape since 2004 and currently manages our Integrated Pest Management/Plant Health Care (IPM/PHC) division. He meets with existing and potential customers every day and advises them on weed control strategies, turf establishment, and soil fertility.
He and his wife, Tania, live in Georgetown with their two sons, Christopher and Anderson.
Cliff Wilson
Chief Executive Officer, Georgetown Community Hospital & Lifepoint Central KY Market President
Cliff is the CEO of Georgetown Community Hospital and market president of Lifepoint Central Kentucky, which consists of Bluegrass Community Hospital, Bourbon Community Hospital, Clark Regional Medical Center and Georgetown Community Hospital.
Cliff comes to Central Kentucky from Winchester, Tennessee, where he served as the CEO of Southern Tennessee Regional Health System. He has also previously served as interim CEO for the STRHS-Lawrenceburg campus, as well as several roles at Rockdale Medical Center, a former LifePoint facility in Conyers, Georgia. He also served as director of professional recruitment and development for Southeastern Integrated Medical, PL and market manager for HCA Physician Services, both in Gainesville, Florida.
He earned a Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Management from Western Governors University, and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the Warrington College of Business at the University of Florida.
In his free time, Cliff enjoys traveling, supporting small businesses and community organizations, and attending UK sporting events.
